New Trier HS, Winnetka, IL // GPA: 5.3 // c/o 2028
Sadie is the starting PG & captain for Airhearts 16U, our Select 40 team that competes against the best in the nation. She's a sophomore at New Trier High School, one of the most competitive academic & athletic programs in the country. She carries a 5.3 GPA in all high honors classes & is on track to complete 11+ AP classes.
On the court, Sadie is a true point guard. She controls tempo, reads the game early, & makes good decisions consistently. Her court vision & passing are exceptional; She distributes precisely, takes care of the ball, & makes her teammates better. She talks on defense, guards opponents' primary ball handlers, & discusses strategy & adjustments with coaches in real time.
At 5'7", she is quick, tough, & the strongest player on the roster. She wins loose balls, rebounds, & physical battles while staying out of foul trouble. She shoots 90% from the line, has a reliable stroke from inside & beyond the arc, finishes through contact, & has hit multiple game-winning shots & assists.
She hasn't missed a practice or game in six years, is easy to coach, & engages seriously with film & strategy. First one in, last one to leave — she draws up plays for fun & is a true student of the game.
A four-time USA Gold camper with a long list of tourney MVP & All-Star honors, she also earned varsity spots in volleyball & flag football with no prior experience in either.
Off the court, she coaches Special Olympic athletes, teaches Spanish & plays guitar. Sadie has won multiple leadership honors, including the HOBY award & two Gwendolyn Brooks Youth Poetry Awards.
Sadie loves science, computer science & math and plans to study Biochemistry in college.
