On the court, Akshara is a captain on her Airhearts Basketball 16U national team, playing on the Select 40 / Power 24 circuit. Akshara is a strong, smooth, dynamic athlete who can post up around the basket, & command the ball and facilitate the offense. She can handle the basketball comfortably & hit outside jump shots in rhythm with ease. She doesn't slow down on the defensive end, she's an aggressive shot-blocker, active rebounder & one of our vocal leaders.
Akshara has a unique ability to quickly learn new moves & integrate them into her game almost immediately. She's tough, smart, aware & reliable. She's a fast learner & she's passionate about basketball. She's also a wonderful teammate & a joy to coach.
Akshara has been a USA Gold camper for the past 3 years & collected numerous accolades, including USJN All Star, & Bluestar All America Camp invite.
In the classroom, Akshara is a well-rounded student who's personable, engaging & active in leadership roles at school. She's interested in studying business & prelaw.
Akshara played varsity Basketball, Volleyball & Track at LFA as a freshman & was the LFA Athlete of the Year.
Sadie is a natural leader, on & off the court. A true PG who does it all on both ends, her bball IQ is as high as
her 3-point range is deep.
